A sock boot on a platform

A boot that fits close around the ankle like a sock, with no laces and no buckles to break the line, set on a platform that runs the full length of the sole. That platform is what takes the pitch out of a heel this tall. Cut for weekend wear and for evening walking on hard footpaths.
